Excellence in Regional Anesthesia Workshops-Ultrasound & Nerve Stimulation Techniques

Course Objectives: Upon completion of this program the
learner will be able to:

*Have an understanding of the clinical aspects of
ultrasound anatomy, knowledge of the difference
between ultrasound and nerve stimulator
and the choice of local anesthetics and
dosing in the administering of brachial
plexus blocks both above and below the clavicle,
blocks of the abdominal, blocks of the
lower extremities and paraspinal blocks.
*Participants will also have an improved understanding
of basic principles, knobology
and sterility during ultrasound procedures
as well as knowledge of billing, business
plans and local anesthetic toxicity as these
relate to ultrasound-guide regional
anesthesia.
