Sonography in Anaesthesia and Critical Care - Ultrasound Workshop for Beginners
Course Description: Sonography in Anaesthesia gains in importance as efficient control of guided injection procedures in regional anaesthesia. The workshop procures relevant theoretical basics coherently by experienced referees. Practical tutorials with ultra-modern ultrasound systems and punctures on phantoms complete the course. The limitation of attendees to 25 persons ensures optimal training circumstances. The workshop is certified by the Bavarian State Authorisation Association for Medical Issues with 11 points.
Course Objectives:Upon completion of this program the learner will be able to:
- Identify nerves in upper and lower extremities
- Identify abdominal trauma with FAST
- Guided injection procedures with ultrasound
