This course will offer the following:
* Basic understanding of the physics and instrumentation of ultrasound
* Enhancement of cognitive and psychomotor skills
* Clinical applications of ultrasound in the ED
* Review of political issues surrounding the use of ultrasound in the ED
* Over 8 hours of hand-on scanning with live models
