Ohio ACEP - Basic Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Course
Course Description: Upon completion of this program the learner will be able to:
- Implement trauma ultrasound into clinical practice with an understanding of the advantages and limitations of the FAST examination.
- Understand the potential political and reimbursement issues surrounding the use of ultrasound in the Emergency Department.
- Perform hands-on scanning of live models to enhance technical proficiency for the diagnosis of normal and abnormal clinical conditions.
