The 2008 Dallas Shoulder Ultrasound Course
A half-day introductory course designed to introduce participants to the principles of shoulder ultrasound and its practical applications.
Objectives
- Understand how ultrasound and scanners work
- Recognize normal and abnormal ultrasound shoulder anatomy
- Learn indications for shoulder ultrasound
- Learn the role of shoulder ultrasound in clinical practice
- Learn techniques for guided injections and nerve blocks
Format
Lectures and hands-on sessions, so that participants may practice the techniques.
Who Should Attend
Orthopedic surgeons, radiologists, sports medicine doctors, and other clinicians interested in using ultrasound for diagnosis and treatment of shoulder pathology.
