Fetal Echocardiography, a Hands-on Introduction

Course Objectives: Upon completion of this program the learner will be able to:

State the indications and applications for performing fetal echocardiography.
Explain fetal cardiac anatomy and physiology.
Identify ultrasound anatomy of the fetal heart.
Demonstrate a routine protocol for a fetal echocardiogram.
List standard measurements included in a routine examination.
Describe commonly seen fetal heart pathology.
Perform a fetal heart screening under supervised conditions until an accepted level of proficiency has been achieved.
Increase knowledge and confidence to perform and/or interpret examinations.
