OB/GYN Ultrasound (3 days)

Course Objectives: Upon completion of this program the
learner will be able to:

Successfully complete the OB/GYN ultrasound examinations following correct patient preparation and procedure protocols.
Identify and display appropriate normal anatomy and orientation in the ultrasound field of view.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the importance of quality assurance in ultrasound as described in the AIUM guidelines.
Understand variations in scanning protocols for demonstration of pathologies in trans-abdominal examinations.
Be able to develop mapping techniques to approach a variety of scanning situations.
Be able to identify sources and research reference materials for additional information on OB/GYN ultrasound.
