Course Objectives: Upon completion of this program the
learner will be able to:

*discuss evidence-based follow-up of the post-operative
cancer patient
*discuss novel applications of radiotherapy in
the cancer patient
*describe the emerging role of nanotechnology
in the diagnosis and treatment of the cancer patient
*define and discuss controversies in the multimodality management
of patients with cancer of the breast, GI tract, soft tissue
and skin
*describe the indications for and the implications
of genetic testing, screening and prophylactic surgery in familial
cancer syndromes.
